The most frequent doubt around fertility are nutrition related as, most of our thinking is affirmative when we relate bad nutrition with infertility. This means that, a diet rich in carbs and sugar will generate in excess production of fat in our body, condition related to overweight and obesity that, cause infertility.
If we continue with the nutrition subject, bad life habits such as alcohol, tabacco and drugs consuption, all substance producers of vasoconstriction, make the blood flow low, so, the production of eggs can also get low affecting then the possibilities of a pregnancy.
About having an acid vagina, the specialists explains that it is not proved that affects fertility, as the semen has prostaglandine, compound that can beat the acidity processes in the woman.
About the working life and habits, it is very important to speak about the stress factor as, even if the women has a beatiful figure or a very good physical conditions, if she is under stress it will be very likely that she cannot get pregnant as, stress can block the ovulation.
On the other hand, infertility causes related with the use of cellphones and computers is still not proved, as doctor César mentions that, theres is no proof that the radiation from these deviced can affect the fertility factor though, it can cause infertility if the men place their laptops on their laps.
About this mentioned myth, the specialists says: “there are some publications about the heat, not about electromagnetic waves, for the cases of people who are in contact with ovens like in a bakery, the heat causes that the sperm in the testicule will have lower motility or, it can cause an improper production of semen, therefore, the heat affects the masculine factor”.
About the heat, also the urologists recommend men to avoid the use of tight underwear or with fabrics that avoid perspiration, as these are external factors affecting the sperm production.
Other myth around men, is that, if the semen production is high, the fertility probability is high. This is not true, good semen should have more than 20 million of sperm per mililitter in order to fertilize the egg. But, even if the man ejaculates a lot of liquit, this doesn’t mean that he has the right quantity for fertilization.
